Why should we have a Cold War over new NATO countries that can't handle their own business?
If Georgia is going to attack separatist in Ossetia, then they should have done it correctly by FIRST diploying diplomacy through NATO instead of acting like terrorists. Russia has no business defending terrorist like Ossetians aswell. If Ossetia and Georgia want to have shit spats then don't call your mother to finish your fight!!!

I think Georgia's, USA's, Ossetia's and Russia's activity in this dispute severs our diplomatic bonds and places us at odds. I also think that Georgian's and Ossetian's are pulling us into a new cold-war that could end catastrophically. GOD I hope this doesn't happen.... The USA political machine, is just to blind to see between the lines. We have no business in eastern europe, and Iraq. This mingling that the USA political machine engages in, secures conflict. And that sucks for all of us americans paying out the ass in taxes by the billions so that we can rebuild and aid other countries. We can't even feed and medicate our children and elderly effectively. But our president sure does have retort for every fart that goes around the world!!!

That all sounds like good common sense logic to me. I cant really argue with that reasoning. There only on thing that bothers me, these Georgian people sent out all thier own troops to help the usa in the mid east. we have some responsibily right or wrong to protect our allies, or nobody is going to want to be our allies in the future. please give me an argument for this, so i can change my mind on the subject.

And Im pretty sure georgia was in the process of becoming a part of nato, they are not members yet. and russia i know is not a part of nato. And how do we know for certain that russia wasnt behind this whole thing, so they could claim back all thier former territories. And that large oil line with a substantial amount of oil going to our european allies, what about that oil line, we just give it to the russians.

Georgian troops started this they destroyed 90% of South Ossetia and bacause S. Ossetia is not an ally of bush no one said nothing no one helped S. Ossetian people . The Georgians didn't seem to be boothered by their military actions , but now that Russia is giving them a taste of their own now Georgia is crying to the world
